A of 1984
Artvideo, 1983

“A of 1984” is an homage to George Orwell. The idea was to relate images to the use of modern computer terminology.

The vision of 1984 also ruled the art scene around that time. There were many fundamental debates about surveillance and about “Big Brother”, which were also partly triggered by the arrival of the personal computer.

The work was produced with the aid of the “Slow-Scan” technology.
