(...) At first sight, Zelko Wiener and Ursula Hentschlaeger seem to have restructured the aesthetics of cyberspace. Tense with expectations, the surfer and his / her avatar travel through virtual stargates to reappear in exotic cyberworlds far away from mainstream and banality. A mixture of kaleidoscope, new wave and Spaceship Enterprise – an exciting tour of discovery. However, behind this futuristic façade, the two Austrians, Wiener and Hentschlaeger want to achieve more. The research project Zeitgenossen should actually revive the relationships among philosophy and the natural and communication sciences.
