Lost & Found
series of 16 images, 2001
The individual struggle for survival is
most obviously relativized through the perception that others
experience life simultaneously and hence emotional parallels of
joy, mourning, anger or love involve a certain bitterness. The
spectrum of the images ranges from giving up to a new
beginning. They are figurative in spite of all abstraction.
The pieces of work were created as
illustrations for the novel by the same name, written by Ursula
Hentschlaeger.
