The primary emphasis in this work is on
the philosophical and web-dramaturgical examination of
informational constructs and levels of perception. It involves
working with the phenomena of simulation and the construction
of reality. The basis of these applications is, first and
foremost, the binary code that makes it possible to convert
texts, visuals and sounds into individual, calculable bits of
data. This way, different forms of expression are made
equivalent and can be interpreted simultaneously. However,
combining medial components, that were originally discrete,
into a single surface, requires that these forms of expression
are accepted as being fundamentally equivalent. This leads to a
reorientation in questions of aesthetics as well as to a
division of labour. The combination of content density, formal
arrangement and competent programming is absolutely essential.
