While it is difficult to determine when digital files were created, this is not the case with prints. In a strange way therefor, the development of technology lately makes originals from the (printed) digital files. In this case an experiment was made with a large-format printer, which accepted canvas as image carrier material. In a later production phase, varnishing acrylic colours were painted over the printed image. ”Digital Image Panels” emerged.
