series of images, 1989

The fascinating spectral color spaces already emerged with the first computers that could portray colors. In this case it was an Amiga 1000 which broke up the video signal into the color channels red, green and blue using an RGB splitter. They were then individually digitized and again assembled by the computer into a single image. Because of the slow digitizing process due to technical limitations, there was a color shift, which became a stylistic device for these productions.
