Documentation
The idea underlying the Outer Space IP came as a
result of the special nature of the year 2001 and can be
understood as a reference to the epoch-making science-fiction
movie "2001 - A Space Odyssey". We have given up
control with traditional menus through the use of the avatar Pantha and for
the first time, much attention was paid to the inclusion of
voices.

Skywatch shows
via webcam the multitude of skies which appear above us
independent of human intervention. The transition from the
mountains to the plains leads in Neunkirchen in Lower Austria
to dramatic sky image sequences, which were sent by our webcam
at regular intervals to the zeitgenossen.com server. With the
final version of the Outer Space IP the project was finished as
well. A selection of individual shots is accessible via a
separate screen.
