Zelko Wiener
Reviews
Thomas Dreher
Zelko Wiener, in his contribution to
“Electric Architecture”, limited himself still to
the illumination of individual wall segments, to additive
projections of pattern sweeps moving at varying speeds. Zelko
Wiener’s (audio-) video installations are one station
towards rhythmic pulsing light image spaces.

(...) Art as a drug!

A darkened room that is reachable via a
corridor. Mirrors at exposed positions, which transport the
work of art to a desired viewing point. Slowly, a computer
controlled canvas is pulled up. (...) With it, a synthesizer
beat, an intensified heart beat, which emphasises the reference
to oneself.
