Ursula Hentschläger found that the online interview was the adequate form of communication with media artists. However, the interview did not take the shape of the usual taped questions and answers, it was done in writing with the help of computer networks. Not only does this procedure lead to a different way of communication, it comes with an additional benefit: Bob Adrian, Franz Xaver, Valie Export, Hilus and the like typed their answers themselves.
