Documentation

It was the first project we developed in the frame-work of zeitgenossen.com. The central idea was to combine web-specific art and media theory. This went along with the intention to describe our present.

Formally we worked on the synchronicity of image and sound, the construction of depth perception and the ”menu-free” screen.

The Imagination module represents the main artistic field. It contains digital literature as well as audio-visual animations especially created for the World Wide Web. In addition, we worked for the first time with extracts from interviews to provide a kind of thought framework. This concept was enhanced during the following projects and the interview-format is now one of the central means of our projects.
