Documentation

It was the first project we developed in the frame-work of zeitgenossen.com. The central idea was to combine web-specific art and media theory. This went along with the intention to describe our present.

Formally we worked on the synchronicity of image and sound, the construction of depth perception and the ”menu-free” screen.

DISTANT HEAT

The Panorama takes the viewer into an artificial landscape. Music, individual images changing at the click of the mouse, and literary statements contribute to an atmosphere of isolation, a feeling of being lost in unknown terrain. On the whole, this is about the kind of serenity you get when your own mental condition does not scare you any longer.
